All of the dishes we ordered were super delicious and not too salty. We ordered the *Bibim Naengmyeon, *Cheese Dakgalbi, *Jjajangmyeon, Beef Jjambbong Tofu Soup, and the Beef Jjambbong. The Jjambbong does have a spicy kick, so beware if you can't handle spice! *highly recommend trying these dishes Definitely recommend checking Pocha Seoul out if you're in the area, or even making the trip there. It's worth it!

Jjambbong Tofu Soup is a spicy seafood broth containing beef, soft tofu and vegetables like carrots, zucchini and green onions. It is served with a bowl of white rice. The spiciness level was set to regular, which was quite spicy. Dolsot Bibimbap is a hot stone bowl dish that contains spinach, carrots, radishes, zucchini, bean sprouts, beef and fried egg. People could mix in the Korean chili paste before eating. The dish also had some crispy rice at the bottom, and I found it to be flavorful with sesame oil. The dishes also came with three types of banchan (side dishes): bean sprouts, kimchi and pickled onion radish. I found the pickled onion radish to be slightly sour and appetizing. Hameul Pajeon is a seafood pancake. The batter was thicker with a crispy ourside and soft inside. It was mixed with chives, squid and shrimp, making it generously filled and tasty. But the dipping sauce was slightly salty. The restaurant has many ink wash paintings and unique decor. The staff were nice and attentive to our needs.

Pocha Seoul is hands down one of Edmonton’s hidden gems for Korean cuisine. The server Derek was an amazing vibe. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is fun, modern, and welcoming — perfect for a casual night out or a late dinner with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast despite how busy it was. The food? Absolutely next level. The Korean fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor — easily some of the best in the city. We also tried the tteokbokki, which had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. And don’t even get me started on the soju cocktails — creative, refreshing, and strong in the best way. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the overall atmosphere just makes you want to stay longer. Whether you're new to Korean food or already a fan, Pocha Seoul will not disappoint. Definitely coming back — this place deserves all the hype!

Delicious Korean food. Easily my favourite place to eat when I'm craving boneless fried chicken. The Kkanpungi spicy garlic fried chicken is amazing and is a must try. It's insanely crispy and flavourful, the pinnacle of fried chicken. The japchae, jjambbong and bulgogi are also very delicious. The dakgalbi was good and spicy but a little too saucy in my opinion. The portions are decent and service was very good the 3 times I've visited. The venue is small and gets very busy so please allow time to wait, trust me, it's worth the wait.

the best Korean food I had in Canada honestly. It tasted like an authentic Seoul food. Also, I think the price was reasonable as if I order 3 dishes like that in other Korean restaurants it would cost more. I will definitely revisit here!
